This crosmember has had the center raised so to lower the car. I think the drop is 1 1/4". The metal is great. A 32 front spring fits inside but the center hole was never drilled. I would use a socket head screw and just drill a round hole. I have had it on a stock 32 crossmember and the holes smatch up. It is not twisted and will bolt into a stock or aftermarket frame. If you look at the pictures of the ends you will see how much lower the radiator mount pads are.. Also note the frame flange has a joggle towards the back, 32 radiator mounts actually went under the frame rails and the joggle accomodates that. I could use some detail work. I would still much rather use it than an aftermarker crossmember. It would sure ease the radiator installation.
