I am a proud Morris minor owner and I love to see all the photos of modified minors that this site has to offer, but it takes a long time to hunt them all down. Help me bring all the modified minors to this thread :D.
He is my 66' gasser, his name is "Chuck Morris". It's funny, when I built it I had no idea that there were so many modified minors out there(i had never seen one) But I was stupid to think I was the only morris minor lover hahaha... I especially love the photo's from way way back...

in the United Kingdom there are a lot Minors powered with Rover V-8, Fiat twincams, Alfa Romeo twincams and every kind of engine you can think off.
    Try a look on www.nsra.org.uk

I really like the 60's drag strip minors. It's cool to see the old photos that people dig up:)

Sorry it is not for sale. I only paid $200 for it. No engine and trans, no bed and no title. Once I can get a title I am going to start on it.

Awesome. I have never run a 455, but I had a 400 pontiac with cam and headwork, and I swear it was untouchable on the street. Sounds like fun :D

  18. Hi Lexman,
I've posted these pics before, but, being an idiot, I can't find them, so here they are again. I'm building this for my wife Irene. It has a 273 Chrysler and autobox, 10bolt rear and a modified Triumph Vitesse front end. It now has a carson top as we live in a very windy place. Soft tops don't seal so well. The rear has been couped and every panel has been altered. IS IT STILL A MINOR????

I remember seeing "Morris Major" taking out the finish line lites in a barrel roll at Bremerton, Wa back in the early '80s or so. Took a few trucks to haul it back.

I dug up a few more photos from a really old thread. I deffinately like the bed on the maroon ute better than the factory style on the teal one.

There is a very cool video of a blown morris minor spanking a R1 streetbike.
Go to streetfire.net click on videos and search "R1 vs. morris minor" . You have to check it out.
