Cool pick, you running a trans brake? What size convertor?
Thanks man! It's actually a stick car...running a TKO 600. Just rev it to the moon and dump the clutch and hope I don't wake up to harp music!
Now wait a tick! LOL! Is that an older car Blackout or did you go and paint the gold one?! Either way that's a killer looking ride!
Yea John it's painted now. Congrats on your 11.5's at the drags!
trying to get my in paint at the moment, 27 rpu anybody got a xtra lower windshield frame for a 27?
Flat black seems to be the colour for killerlooking T coupes.
And John your 11.5 is good but I read somewere about your 60 foot
that was realy good.
Well here are a black and white pic of mine coupe
Thanks fellas. I ran an 11.50 flat at 1100 ft elevation so that's gotta be an 11.40 of some kind back in the sticks where I live! Best 60ft to date is 1.51 but 1.57 is the norm. Going to try and do much better next year.
Blackout I REALLY like the black! I didn't think you could beat the gold , but you proved me wrong. Not all rods look right black (say it ain't so). Stellar move you made. Ballsy too!
Had to add that I think rear and rear 1/4 views make the best pics of T's. Love both of those cars!
my buddies car we build about five years ago
Man i love T's.....this thing is sinister!
Finally got the windows in, and the regulators to work.
It's a lot warmer with all the windows in it, before, I just had the windshield, and it was kinda chilly at freeway speeds...
Lookin good! NIce scenery you have there as well.
Thats about 1/2 mile from our house, Thomas... We are about 500 feet from the Ocean, but after that 500 feet, there's about a 90 foot cliff... that suits me just fine, I live in the only town in the lower 48 states, to be wiped out by a Tsunami... so that 90 feet is quite all right with me....
First an avacado farm, now that place.
Put me a new cam in my T, finish it up this weekend. Just a lil rumpity rump. WIll need some gears after this. I have the stock 2:50's in it now.
Sucker will sail down the highway at 80 with ease.
Here's mine, well actually I just sold it a couple of days ago.
don't have pics, but what about "Sparkle's T" from summer 2010 Rod and Kustom?
This is my 24 T I done a ground up on. I still have to do the top bows and irons.
I have always loved the stance on the green Tudor! Any more pics of it?
I always liked the T coupes, had a 27 roadster years ago ,wish I never sold that one.Built a dozen other cars since.I daily drive my custom Elcamino and for the weekends drive my 34 Desoto Airflow custom.A friend of mine passed away and gave me his 27 T coupe body that I have been building into a low buck hot rod driver,no billet parts or shinny paint on this one. Hope to have it done by spring. Great pictures guys.
Wow, that is NICE!
Theyre all nice. Great thread.
Here is my old T. Real steel ,Flathead with 3 speed top loader.
Man I'd love to have a T coupe. Anyone want to trade for a truck?
Love blackouts T, any more pics?
Man I tell you what........My T is TOUGH!
Got cut off this morn on a slick hiway entance ramn, tapped the brake and went to spinning. I spunt it aorund 2 whole turns clipping the curb with each spin. I clipped a curb 4 times. Ruined a smoothie, sheared off volts to panhard and bent a coilover bolt. May have b ent an axle. Had to get a wrecker ride home.
I feel like I came out ok. Coulda tore the whole undercarriage out.
glad to hear you both came out OK!
I gotta ask, is that a 6 or 12 volt panhard?LOL
glad to hear your T didn't get ruined. I find it wierd how they either dont notice you or try to run you off the road while gawking.
I know its not steel but I though I would throw it up anyway
Great posts on the T's. I thought I'd add mine to the mix. They are both 1926s. The touring is powered by a 401 nailhead and the "modified" is flathead powered. Both are for sale by the way, I need some cash to finish my Deuce roadster. CYA on the road. Dale
Hopefully they will stay that way
I would trade you a coupe for the '57 but my T is worth no where near what you want for the truck.
Man that thing screams T bucket Cool lookin bucket
