    what is a good model t front axle width when you fender on it

    It depends on the wheels you intend to run, but in most cases the 46" after market axles usually are the best choice.

    a guy brought the frame and some parts to our shop wants us to put the running gear together it will be full fendes with disk brake on the front so i better find out what wheels he will be running and see how low he wants it thanks

    all the cars i have built been fender less he only brought on fender i gess i will find out more on monday after noon he talk to me 3 years ago about this he still have the stock model t frame but its been boxed i was told

    well he got a 46 axle and a 4 inch drop he had drop arm for 1937 ford spindles he is running split model a wish bones the tie rod runs under the wish bones will that be ok this will be fun he put a sbc the exhaust is right next to the frame not much room and the frame is boxed

    If you run the tie rod under the A wishbones it will be lower than the axle and you will see it from the front. Can you run it above the wishbones?

    yes you can i think he should buy a new set of steering arm that is not drop
