This was another project to get done this past summer, building the floor in my 26 model T. not much to say but here's some pics. I was really not looking forward to this part of the build , not sure why , it ended up being one of the most fun parts of the build so far. this is my first full car build started with the body then built the frame from 2x3 square tube 3 inch round tube up front and a small kick up in the back. so that being said this is also the first attempt at building a floor. it did turn out good and solid, but still got a little ways to go to finish the T out. would like to do a complete build thread some time after its finished, if I can get all the pics. together. thanks for looking.
Well done. Yes, do a build thread or at least add some progress stuff to the "Who's Building a T" thread started by slimegreen. Is the body channelled at all over the chassis? If so how much and do you have a outside pic to spare to let us see the stance etc. Mucho gracias amigo... https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/whos-building-a-t.645511/
I did not channel the body. Built mounts to bolt on top of frame. It has about a 6" kick up in the rear. The first pic. Is just after frame rails were welded up and squared up , the body is just sitting. The second pic. Is before I built the floor or the top. But the stance is there. I will check out the thread you mentioned and see what I can compile, still going through the pics. Thanks.
