Features **Model T buckets/RPU's/Roadster/Tourings official photo thread**

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Old-Soul, Aug 25, 2010.

  1. I really like the Roadster above but feel the motor is sitting to high. Another plus for the Rams Horns, I run them on my 26 T. JW

    Damn man! I'm flattered! That's some pretty heavy company to be mentioned in.

    The t bucket list thread has me going back through this one again, so much great info. Does anyone happen to know more about this one? What magazine this is from? Looks to be the same car? IMG_0889.jpg

    Stinson, I'm sure it is the same one with updates. Lots of things I really like on T-Totaler;
    I love two part opening windsheilds an two part folding ones even better,or a one part that is only high enough to see through an no more,don't really care for two part that has had the hole thing filled in with one big glass only. The custom headers I like too,and the steering column is clean an not a fat one ,plus it dose not have a upper rad hose all twisted up to get a big air pocket in messing up the motor look. Using spinnerhubcaps cool, But every one has def likes

    Tim Troutman, did you bring your T to the Frogfollies? Was it 4-cylinder powered? Sam

    Gary........ PLEASE start. Remember, it's good to share knowledge and educate. Even if it hurts. These are grown men. I doubt they cry and maybe they'll even head out to the garage.

    Thanks Fred but I've come to the conclusion that most builders especially of "T buckets" don't really give a shit. Those who do, like you will do the homework it takes to figure out what is UGLY and what is not.

    I really like the little narrow T below. What I've been noticing lately looking at old magazine and old photos of cars for sale in the '50s and '60s is that we would publish our full home address in national magazines. It was a different time.

    I love those old photos. We all wore dress shoes. It was pretty much that boots or P.F. Flyers.

    Penny Loafers? I still wear them. Mainly, on those occasions I go to court. The "man" takes your shoe laces, before they lock you up.;)

    Yeah Fred I forgot penny loafers. I still have a pair too. Semi dress up. And Italians early '60s which I had never thrown mine out.

    It looks like the front axle is linked to the rear end and the rear end to the frame with ladder bars.

    Front is doubled up gas shocks with what may be some heavy motorcycle struts and springs...

    Looks like the Dick Kraft, later Seiden bros/Highland Plating Special car early on in it's life. Later in the early seventies Ron Weeks found it and re-did it. scan0008.jpg scan0009.jpg scan0010.jpg scan0011.jpg

  26. I'll be damned. 1951 was where it's at ! I was hoping you'd see that post. That front view and hell those HAMB criteria titties just do me right. I love that shot !! If we could flip the negative, we could read what the heck it says ! I keep thinking it says Queens .... but that doesn't make sense to me either. In any event, thanks Chip ! Think that's it, and I will now go back to specific searching for it !

    One more time !! Chip-chip-hoooorayyyyy !!! Ohhh eeee oh !![IMG]
