Do any of you know who's display this is?

It would be cool to hear the story behind it.

One of the first I ever built and still my favorite, I was pretty young and thought all 3 cars should be in the box.

Nice meeting you at GNRS. Love the Church books I got. I probably built every kit Aurora made in the 60s. Revell and Monogram to, and some Renwalls. I'd love to see the box art. I can probably ID most of them.

Another brilliant thread started by Royalshifter. I learned to build models from my dad. I built alot of the ones I've seen on here. I'd build 'em then blow them to smithereens with firecrackers. Hah! Wish I saved everyone of them. Here's a box top I bought at a church fair for a dollar. The lady had a bunch of jewelry in it and she thought I was nuts that I just wanted the box.

In case anyone's wondering, no, I didn't flatten the box. I scanned all five sides.

the actual T for two car was at bakersfield last october. it was also a Rod and Custom cover car.

about a year ago on ebay somebody was selling the original paintings for some early 60's box art ... I believe it was monogram, but the beer has removed too many brain cells to be sure. they were cool, and went from like 800 - 1500 bucks each... the guy had like 20 of them

I built a few of the Tom Daniels ones, the Red Baron, T'rantula, and the Draggin Wagon had a dragon in the cage. I remember building those Zingers and the Dave Deal ones. My dad hated them 'cause they weren't realistic I guess. Cool stuff keep 'em coming.

In honor of the Ala-Kart restoration, I found this picture on google. I paid way too much for this kit and a year later AMT released the new version. Of course the box isn't as cool.

I've also been to yard sales and asked to buy just the box. :D

These jo-han kits were good quality. Of course I like the Roadrat, I had a white '69 RR in high school.

I've had a few of these but I never built one. I always steal the hemi motor for something else.

I've never finished one of these 'cause the decals always get fugdup. Cool Caddy motor though.

A couple more by AMT. I don't think Ohio George would approve of those front tires.

The Lil Coffin was the first model I remember. My dad had built it when I was as a kid. That the one that got me interested in model cars. Is that car still around?
