Had a guy come in my office wanting to sell me this tractor. Looks like it has some good car parts. Sorry for the crappy picture he gave me. What do you guys think. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1412779916.922712.jpg

Right now from the price he gave me. I don't know if I want it. I am not interested in it for a tractor. Just wanting some parts an the B engine. I wish it had all the original wheels. But only has two of them.

Convert it into a riding lawn mower.

Go for it (lots of people have third mortgages now-a-days.)

Too much money. I bought this Model A Doodlebug several months ago for $650. Great to ride around big shows in. Sure beats a golf cart or Gator. Doodlebug Wellington show 9-14.jpg

He thinks that B motor is worth a bunch. He says it turns over. But has no idea what condition it is in. But he says its worth 1,000 on its own.

If he's serious about selling it have him Google the Worthington tractor article in "Gas Engine Magazine", hopefully he'll adjust his price a little closer to reality.

Pricey! Got a neat grille on it though!

  15. Wow - that must be a gold plated engine! I sold a restored Worthington a year ago, for much less than that. Now I chase around on this...

    A doodlebug based on a '24 Packard...

That is a nice project. If the price is off, the rest of the build is gonna go off the rails.
But it could be funny, to yank the motor for something better, along with the axle.
Replace it with something cheap and running.
And then used is like a Pitbike/ATV around your house.

But 2200 sound like a steap price.

He says the grille shell is a 32 car grille shell. I don't know I have just seen this picture. I would mainly like it for the parts off of it. We have tractors. And I have a Polaris Ranger that I get around our place with.
