Does anyone repop visors for 30-31 Model A's? Or has anyone ever fabricated one from scratch? Any ideas?

The one on my pickup has been hacked up, cracked, dented, creased, and welded to the roof by some unskilled previous owner. I'll be cutting the roof out and building it from scratch because of the hackjob they did. But I was curious if the visor would be easier to build than to buy, or vise-versa.
