Projects Model a Tudor with white firewall?? cant decide.

I am going to paint my firewall this weekend. I really like white firewalls . But I will have a black stock roof. Would that look bad? Black roof-white firewall-and green body? Anybody have a pic of a Tudor with a black roof and a white firewall? I'm either going with black or white.what would you pick?

 

I like white firewall on hot rod's, Here is a picture of my old 40 ford black primer.

 

Sorry it's not an A but my truck has a green body and 'off' white firewall. I tied the grill insert and screen surround in to match which I think helps.

I like the idea of a off white or white fire wall.

 

I painted mine just to get paint on it got the car running so we could work the bugs out before we tore it down for paint. A friend of mine all but threatened me with physical violence if I change the color of the firewall.

 

I guess I am just worried about too many colors. Green body , white firewall, gold BBC, black roof.

 

The white that Chrysler used on the Magnum is what I'll use on my Roadster, I also believe Hot Rods look best with full hoods. Bob

Nice! Why did you swap the fuel sediment bowl to the drivers sids? Bob

 

Moving it to the driver's side of the firewall puts the outlet closer to the inlet side of the fuel pump and shortens the flex hose.

Yup i like off white firewalls, definitely not bright white though !!!

 

White works for me.4 cars , four white firewalls.When I did the first one, a guy told me it'd look lousy.I guess he meant on HIS car. Go for it. Mike from Mass.

I am in for white. Photos of the '31 before it went ORANGE. But the firewall stayed white.
