I picked up my first A this weekend so im not completely familiar with every seller out there just yet, but ive been looking for weeks for someone who sells replacement or patch panels for the sides of the roof ( the part that sits on the pillars). Does NO ONE sell these?

Ditto for a door. I see whole new steel bodies but cant locate a reproduction door (not even fiberglass). any help here fellas or do i have to fabricate both myself? i should add, i need an entire driver side door, not a patch

  2. try putting an add in the wanted classifieds, a hamber might have what your looking for. they use to sell the side roof pieces, but i'm pretty sure they've stopped producing them. you'll probably have to settle for a used door also.

  6. Tech week is a big event around here.
The latest winner gave an excellent tech on building doors from scratch.
You'd have to change it a bit for yours but the thread is worth a little time for sure.

If it's a 28/29 coupe and tudor doors are the same.. If it's a 30/31, they are different... If it's the top piece over the door, one of the restorer catalogs list them, I'm just not sure which one.. Send for all the model A catalogs, they're good to have and some have some good pictures of the parts....

Go to the Ford Barn website. Look in the classifieds there. Also,
Burts Model A parts in Colorado has a good paper catalog with pics.
Snyders Model A parts has an online catalog with some pics.

  10. You can contact Bert's Model A in Denver, they carry a lot of used body parts. I don't have their website, I gave my copy of their book to a friend of mine.

Those pieces above the door are available after market but quite pricey.
Sometimes you can find them on ebay.
Door skins can be found also but I don't think anyone is making complete doors.
Hinges can be an issue to find to.
