I had the opportunity to see it up close and it is awesome! I can't believe it's the same body you dragged home from the Grove. Some killer body work and really, really sweet paint and buff. Get boltin'!

Body gets dropped on tomorrow...I'm rounding up the troops tonight.

I spent the afternoon going over the rear suspension and E brake setup to make sure everything is tight. Much easier to do it now then laying on my back underneath it when the body is on. Greased my tie rods and went to the hardware store to get bolts to bolt it down.

layed the top and visor on for a pic...couldn't help it. The top will have more of a crown in the front once I put the wood bows in...but wanted to see what it looked like on the body. When bolted down it will also come down and forward slightly..i'll probably pad and upholster the top in white next year.

    Making progress.....

Nice job. Love the top, too. Will it be a semi-permanent deal or perhaps easily removable for sunny days? Gary

    Nice top.

I'm going to use a removable fiberglass top on my roadster pickup and I am thinking of using black roll on bed liner to make it look kind of like fabric.

    You do very fine work.

    Dick :) :) :)

Spent today doing a bunch of small things. Made the radiator support rods from some round stock, mounted my fuse box and dimmer switch, adjusted my doors again, painted my battery box, bolted the cowl down with some new hardwarde, added mounting screws for the windshield, and started putting a plan together to mount my headlight switch and ignition switch.

It's the little shit that takes so much time

    Some more progress today.

Fab'd up some brackets to mount my radiator support rods to my radiator and bolted everything down. Also made some lower radiator to shell brackets so the thing doesn't fly off..haha

I got some more hardware ( I'm officially sick of driving to the hardware store, thank god it's only down the street).....and bolted my visor down for good.

Bolted my top down for good. I used bolts and wingnuts with washers for this...worked out well.

I then spent about an hour sticking body welting between the top and the body. I'm a little anal about this stuff fitting just right. After some cursing everything went together nicely and I bolted everything tight.

I then mounted my voltage regulator and coil with some O'brien truckers swag
