Did some searching and couldnt find much on the topic. My coupe body didnt have a drivers side B pillar installed. I got a used pillar and its being held in place right now with small machine screws. I dont think these screws are strong enough to leave in place. Can I enlarge the rivet holes a bit and plug weld the B pillar to the car? Is there another commonly used method. I really dont want to wait for the post man to bring me rivets. any sugestions? also if I plug weld would it be a good idea to weld the B-Pillar to the body in other places besides the rivet holes?

Fire up the welder and be done with it. These aren't rocketships.

Dont rivet it weld it. If the pillar fits good throw a couple tacks on it before taking those screws out then weld it solid in the holes

Might as well throw in one more "weld it":)
