Great job on the rear spring hangers, that is really slick!

Will be interesting to see if you can get the rear low enough without Z-ing it. Should be able to get a little lower than with the Model A rearend since the later rear radius rods mount to the bottom of the rear rather than the leading edge.

Looks awesome! You are plowing through all the scary stuff that keeps me from building an AV8!

  4. Ok, so this moring in the cold (7 degrees) I pushed the ol buggy out and stood all around it. Man, it made me smile! It's leaning pretty hard to the drivers side in these pics as the whole thing is jus sitting together, nothing is bolted down! I like that dash :D Can't wait to see it "stock"

  5. Thanks! This car will be sitting pretty high as it is...look I'm after anyways. I may heat the spring a little in the back to get a little droop out of it though...

Oh and as far as Austin goes, I'll pimp your ass.....wait, I didn't mean it like that. I meant drive you around....shit it's too late. Gay!

looks great ...keep it up ...

  8. The roadster looks awesome!. I can't believe you actually spent that much time outside. I stopped working outside once I found out that everything in the yard was frozen to the ground last week. I like the headers just the way they are, you should just weld them up and plate them.

As for the Dash, I don't like it...I LOVE IT!

  9. Thanks dude, oh and don't worry most everything you say I take as you being gay :D

  10. Oh Billy don't even go there. I worked on my truck today, outside, for like 6 hours. It was pretty flippin cold!

  11. Hey chris...nice build ! Interested in that trans crossmember you used.
What was it off of origionally ? P.s. Using model a flanges
to mount the rear end ,amazing idea !

  12. You're crazy! how come you didn't push the hot rods outside and put the truck in the garage for the day? It looked like a beautiful sunny day from inside my nice warm house.

By the way, your WANTED demascening piece of metal is either sitting on my garage floor or frozen to the ground outside. :D

  13. It's and F-1 Crossmember, used from 1942-1952 Ford half ton trucks.

  14. SWEET! The truck is too long to go into the garage ane get the door shut. I need a bigger shop (don't we all :))

  15. I just have to ask, what does "demascening" mean.

  21. Thanks to Payne I found the perfect 32 instrument cluster. I mated it with my gauges and hung it in for a good look. Man, I am really diggin how leaned back they are!! Note that the panel is just strung in there, not sitting exactly were it needs to be.
    Thanks again Billy!!

Chris, You are still making good progress. Like the idea on the rear axle mounts. Keep up the great work.
