Hey HAMB - I have a 28 Model A that has a Chevy 153 motor in it. I'm about to make a hood for it, but I'm concerned that the gap between the radiator and firewall is not large enough for a bigger engine. Someday I might want to put a flathead in.(?)

Can some of you with larger engines comment on how large your gap is? I'm at 28" now.

Look it up on Roolieb's website.

    As I remember . . .

    28 is 28
    30 is 30
    32 is 32

. . . but look it up to be sure.

Here's a 28 with a flattie and stock hood. Can't find the engine picture but he recently drove it across Canada on the Canadian hot rod tour. 20160711_172757.jpg
