Hi guys..lookin for a bit of help here..just bought a 28 tudor sedan...seems the coil overs on the rear are a bit weak...what is a good weight on the rear of a fenderless sedan for a strong set of coil overs??..right now it's runnin 3" diameter and 14" long springs

I am real lucking in that I have a buddy who owns a Hot Rod shop. On my 29 tudor I just replaced the coil overs in the rear. It had a set of those cheapo Speedway coil overs and they were 175 Lb. I tried a couple of different weight ratings and settled for 225 lb coil overs. These on my full fendered car gave me the best ride. your milage may vary but it seems that would be a good start.

I will check with him and see were he is getting those coil overs. I havn't received the bill yet so I don't know much they cost. I will get that information for you as well.
