Hot Rods Model A Headlights - Size AND Location Matters!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by brett4christ, Jan 24, 2018.

  1. I've searched but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for...

Model A owners...please post some pics of ONLY your Model A's showing headlight locations and please provide the headlight model (Ford, B-L-C, Guide, etc.) and size (if known). Most interested in full-fendered cars, but I like fenderless, too!

***Extra credit if the car has fog/driving lights!***

Help me with my dilemma...which lights to use and where to place them on my full-fendered '31Tudor!

I know this isn’t what you’re thinking about exactly, but for safety I like them slightly above the tires. Plus, I think they look better too.

    Stock lights on shock riser:

    (but definitely lower than stock!)

May not be what you’re after. I used some smaller bullet motorcycle lights for turn signals mounted on the underside.
The preprinted pic shows the old studs hanging below the mounting bracket. I machined some stainless threaded adapters to use SS wire loom and anchor headlights. [IMG]
