Following on from my post re using vicky cowl and doors in a coupe here https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...upe-cowl-and-door-swap.1169833/#post-13296129 Does anyone know of A coupes that have had the header panels changed or another way to do away with the visor whilst leaving the car looking good and better than stock, particularly after a decent chop. (Thanks @krylon32 for the idea to go chase that) The best looking ones I have found to date are Bass's 29 and D-Russ's Vicky which are pictured below. Both look great and use 32 header panels as I understand it. Anyone done something different? Thanks.
You can see the transition headed to the '32 loosing the visor and a change in the header....this is a late '31 Victoria I don't have a closer photo and it is hidden away at the moment After staring at it, the header is such that it makes for a taller roof line than you might be after. Went to the trouble, I'm going to post it anyway and you ask....
Thanks winduptoy, appreciate you posting that pic. It was those 31 Vickys that got me originally thinking about this, particularly with the slanted A pillars. The blue car above belongs to @D-Russ started as a Vicky as I understand it.
