Anybody know anything more about this coupe? I think I read somewhere that it was from Australia. It was wicked fast, and the last I saw, it had been wrecked. Was it ever rebuilt? Anyone have any more pics? It was way badass.

Not quite yet Steve, but we did fit the motor today & Chad (Retroline) did some welding on the frame. Yes it was pretty fast, it did an 8.70 quarter mile & it hadn't reached it's full potential.
    Cheers Dago.

Cool. Thanks for the info guys. I'd love to see more pics of drag version, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it's currently coming along. I'm glad it didn't go to the scrap yard.

Thanks for the pics guys. It's good to see the car is being put back together. I gotta say I prefered the the deuce rails on it before, but I'm sure he's doing what he can. It's still a cool car though.

    Thanks again.

Yes it's coming along nicely. It never had deuce rails, they were tin covers over model a rails . Pretty nifty hey. :D
Thanks for the pics Retroline & SRV.

Holy Cow 8.70 quarter mile!!!!!!!!! That must have been a wild ride.

Some times those short wheelbase drag cars could be a hand full to drive and at the top end they would move around and get light some times.

That must have really gotten the Old Heart ticking a little faster.

This car was Nutt'n Fancy II as his 33 hiboy was the original Nutt'n Fancy.
It will look pretty much as it did but will be down on power a little.

So I'm guessing the cage had to be cut from the chassis? It must have needed a fair bit of bodywork too. So impressive to see the car back in action, it's one of my favourites too.

Yes, it's a whole different frame, more like a hot rod frame now.

Hey guys. Thanks for the extra pics. Glad to see it's been put back together. Nice work on fixing the body. Maybe this time it'll keep the shiny side up.:)
