Thanks. So you built this frame in a similar fashion as the first one in that you took a couple inches out of the 32 rails? What else is different if you don’t mind me asking.

I’ll bet you there is a ton of room in this. If you do it right there is no problem. Mine is chopped 5.75” and my 6’4” buddy still has an inch over his head. Doors could be longer for him to get in but no head bangin’

20190520_172305.jpg 20190520_180757.jpg I've been working on the chassis and the plumbing of the fuel lines and brake lines, after building this new chassis I've decided to cut the floor out to make things fit a bit better, the bungs on the rear chassis are for the fuel tank, nothing fancy just some round stock drilled and tapped 20190522_211759.jpg

20190608_073437.jpg I havnt posted a side pic of this model a since i changed the wheel base, some people were curious how it looked, personally i wouldn't want it any shorter, this is right around 107 inch wheel base 20190608_085720.jpg

Can't remember a build, after it is driven some, that didn't settle a little. Your scrub line looks a little dangerous to me. Looks great that low, but when you loose a "Coker", rots a ruck, Bud.

You are contradicting yourself. A 4 inch chop has always been considered the max chop for a good reason. One inch over your head may cause neck injury if you actually drive the car. If your car is just a toy it won't matter. I have been driving my avatar for more than 20 years thru 4 states. It's not chopped and I hit my head so hard that it broke the wood roof rib. That hurt.

Really digging the floor tins. Not so much the in-cabin tranny dipstick, however.

  23. Love those hard lines.

How were you able to get identical straight lengths & bend matching radius curves?
Did you use a jig? Or just measure *really* carefully? Or???
    Thanks!
