Have had these laying around since I took them out of a bunch of Model A stuff my son bought years ago. Every now and then I get curious about what they're for and do a little searching but haven't come up with much. Can't find a Model A parts book online anywhere and several of the A suppliers I've looked at don't show anything quite like these. Closest I've come was a Snyder's catalog where the 5100 series numbers seemed to be battery or battery box related but no A5155. Look familiar to anyone?

Looks like p/n 78-700748, bolt, battery clamp, 1937-1938 . I found it in the Automotive Hardware and Trimming Supplies, 1928-1938 Ford small parts book.
It is actually described as bolt (dash battery clamp) because Ford described firewalls as the "dash" for some reason.

A-5155 is listed as "bolt, battery support" 1928-31. List at Ford is four cents each, or 100 for $3.00, so don't let'em rip you off.

Carriage bolts with a bend in them? I think those are mis-labeled. They are for bolting together Chevrolets on the Friday afternoon assembly line.
