What to do with the MISLED YOUTH? What to do?...... What to do!?! Yeah, nothing! Kick back and watch the next generation have a ball kicking arse building some cool rides and enjoying the hell out of it. So cool to see! Lucas Carberry has been knocking out some amazing vids of late, particularly his work with Forty One 30 Customs https://www.youtube.com/@FortyOne30Customs/videos
We all have, good to see the young generation kick on. I for one get a kick out of what they are doing, it actually motivates me, inspires and reminds me of a lot of the things I was doing at that age. There has been talk on the HAMB in recent times about the future of Hot Rodding, these rascals show hot rodding ain't going nowhere and I know in many parts it is the same, so Rad to see!
Ah man I'm pretty green eyed here, so jealous. That video is great and those guys are living the life!!!
Good to see these guys and gals having fun! The passion certainly follows. Stay humble and keep hotrodding alive!
I watched that last night, a very well done video with some outstanding hot rods and youngsters. It looks like traditional hot rodding is in good hands "down under". I forwarded the link to an "Aussie" friend and old time hot rodder he said he knew most of them and they were the real deal!
And about 30 yrs ago. GREAT Video, warms my heart to see the same passion about the same things coming around again.
Sorry for the nasty above, just a bad month. I knew the fuel pump was leaking. Just discovered a manifold leak. The frame was bent and 'repaired' long ago
Oh hell yea been there doing that and still doing it good times for sure. The future is certainly bright with lots more like minded young ones to keep the tire smoke and flames rolling along for a long time to come. Ronnieroadster
Wow, think I saw me there,(but 60 years ago). Love to see you young guys enjoying the cars the same way I did back in the day. I'm from California but have spent heaps of time in Oz and enjoy driving my Aussie Ute I brought home about 25 years ago. We love the Australian Hot Rod community and always enjoy it when we get down under. Hope to someday cross paths with you young guys and gals. P.S. your filming quality was great and we look forward to part two. Cheers Mates, John & Dawn
I always look back and smile when I think about my late Ex-mother in law. She told me that I would always be "car poor" because of my fascination with automobiles. She was way off base in her estimate. My fascination led to the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and eventually a crew chief on B-52 and KC-135 aircraft. That lead to a good career in aircraft. And working in experimental aircraft for several manufacturers. I kept on playing with hot rods and race cars, sprint cars, midgets and lakes/Bonneville cars. I even got a teaching certificate and spent 15 years teaching auto mechanics until bad knees forced my into an early retirement. I have been medically retired now for 14 years, still enjoying my avatar roadster and my ot 68 El Camino, plus helping friends with their own projects. Being a "car poor" kid eaten up with all things mechanical has given me a life that few people would ever expect. What an incredible ride I have had the great fortune to have enjoyed! I still have more that I want to accomplish, but if God took me home tomorrow, I would have NOTHING to swivel about! I only hop that my ex-mother in law is resting uncomfortably in the eternities with her extremely inaccurate judgment!
My favorite video on YouTube. The cars, the people, the shots, the tunes, it’s all a 10/10. Drive your junk! Hotrods forever.
That is a great video, those guys know how to have fun & they certainly drive their hotrods all over the place
misled youth are the ones driving imports with fart can exhaust. looks like these guys are right on target.
