Like the title says Its that time again for all you metal heads that want to get together with like minded folks and share the skills of metalshaping. If you dont know what these events are all about check out allmetalshaping.com or metalmeet.com and see what you have been missing. The dates are may 3-6 and this year its International with Per (metalmansweden) comming over along with Kerry Pinkerton (Imperial Wheeling machines) and a host of others I see on this site as well .Get ahold of me by PM for any questions .
Dan has a very well equipped shop with the capability of doing any type of sheet metal shaping. There will be a lot of talented people there that will be available to answer your questions. You can learn more in a few days at a meet like this than you can from DVDs, written instruction or other self teaching aids but you have to get your hands dirty.
Hi Dan A big Thank You to you and Lou for hosting an event like this. You give us guys a chance to see, learn and do some real metalshaping. Last year was my first Mn. Route 56 Metalmeet. I called Dan before the meet and he said sure, come on down, bring your project along, we'll help you. I am glad I drove the 350 miles to the meet because I met a lot of knowledgible people and came home with 2 new door skins for my 32 Ford 5 W and suggestions to reparir the 2 rear quarters. Looking forward to seeing guys that are as enthusiastic about comming as you .
Friday will be my first time attending this event. Everybody that has been there before seems to have had a great time and I'm looking forward to the experience. Does anybody know what time they get started in the morning? I wouldn't want to be late. Thanks!
