Does anyone know if the midwest gassers are still around? There website is up for sale.
I believe they are still around.
They just invited us to race with them this weekend at the Olympics of Drag Racing.
I sent him a PM right away when he posed the question.
we are loud and proud, but the website is still a work in progress...and that pisses me off.
I was wondering the same thing.........
gassers are coming back, hell I just bought one !
we would love to have you participate. PM me regarding your car and setup and I can hook you up
Weather permitting, we plan on rolling out of N/W Indiana about 11AM Saturday morning,
looking forward to meeting you.
If you can post pics. The Gasser and vintage racing movement is alive and in full swing.
Hi guys my names Dave but the call me Falcon I was one of the three founding members of MIDWESTGASSERS. Had to loose the car a while back but shop is up and running building straight axle cars just minutes away from great lakes dragaway
Hi Dave. Who were the other two founding members?
The other two founding members
Dominic "Dyno Dom" Blasco
He has the "Vintage Speed" Willys amongst other cars
Mike Etzcorn (might be spelled wrong)
He was running an original Belvidere F/X car with a Grumpy Jenkins 427 until it blew
Dom later became part owner of Great Lakes Dragaway and has since moved to Texas if my info is right.
I was running a 63 purple falcon at the time straight Axle, tubs, full tube frame
