had some time last night , so made the final template for the firewall, couple more small mods & I can transfer to the Aluminum and get it mounted.
Also hope to be receiving the steel nose by the end of the month.

Congratulations on reuniting the original front end with the car. Talk about a needle in a haystack. It's looking good!

It's very surprising that it found its way back to the car. It's going to be a few days before it sinks in that you have it back.

I had to fix the bolt holes in the dog legs, before I could bolt the nose on, in the previous pictures it was just setting on there.
now it bolts up the way it should, I still have to bump out the hood .

We have had some pulley issues with the long water pump, so I got rid of the old set up and switched to a short victor jr pump with new pullys and a low mount alt bracket from speedway everything worked out great, also picked up a aluminum rad and a fan to keep cool, made a new aluminum grille like back in the day.... Got radiator sitting in there, fits well now I need to come up with some hold downs, the bottom will be easy, not sure what I should use on the top? Any ideas? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1413339552.490065.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1413339575.707983.jpg

Here's the start of the bottom radiator mount, had to put the radiator on a 17deg angle to get it as far forward as possible to clear fan. Young Hot rodder Thomas is helping out with the project.
