I found this Majestic Brand lamp, in the trunk of an old car. It was termite damaged, and the brass was all green. amazingly, the shades were intact, but heavily mildewed. I had it restored, (because I don't do house electrical) and it now sits front and center, in my living room.

  3. I restored this Art Deco "Rembrant" lamp a while back. Turned out well.

  5. This Art Deco "Wedding Cake" overhead came out of a general store in Pulaski, VA. I did a full frame-off restoration on it, including total retire as well as nickel-plating on the retainer band and the top.

  6. I believe that may be another Majestic.

  7. Early 20th Century with strong Arts & Crafts influence. Another flea market find. Retired with cloth wiring.

My wife has had this old lamp a long while, I replaced the old cloth covered cable and old plug, and good to go... I like the silhouette

Wow...amazing. When I see the stuff that was being produced then for the masses, it becomes apparent how uninspired most things are today. Here are a few of mine.
