Hi HAMB folks... We are in the early stages of negotiations for a pile of parts to replicate an old Hot Rod that I remember as a kid (mid to late 1960's)....it was a fenderless truck cab...no hood...flat bed on the back with a beer keg for a fuel tank...it was not really nice and shiney (I think it was brush painted orange color on it) but more crude and rude...my question is for the era of say 1966 to maybe 1970...this old truck I am pretty sure had a coil spring rear suspension..nothing store bought back then...so what would the builder back in the day used to get a coil spring suspension rear end under a 1940's truck cab?... Any insight would be a wonderful thing... MikeC
'61 to '64 full-size Chevy's for sure...may be '65 and '66 too. Look for anything with trailing arms.
