The real sugar skulls are sold all over mexico for el dia de los muertos. I am in Mexico alot and they usually cost well under a buck each, but unless you could seal it into a resin ball or something they would just crumble.

  4. Mold one out of Sculpy.
Or you could use wax, then have it cast in Aluminum.

They are called "Calaveras" and sold for Dia del Muertos right after Halloween. If you want, I can get you one but you have to wait until Halloween. That's the only time you can get them and they are sold all over the place then.

If you want one, PM me.

copy and paste this - Mexican Sugar Skulls - into a Google search and them click Images. You'll get all kinds of images and their associated website. One of them was even a how-to. Crazy stuff.

There was a guy on here a while ago making them. The post might still be around. I tried to contact him but no reply. If he isn't making them maybe he would sell you the mold, and you could make 'em. Cuz i want one of those fuckers

Actually if it's made of sugar and cheap, all you need is a foundry and you're in business. Buy a dozen, have em moulded and then soak the molds in water til the sugar dissolves away. Investment casting at it's simplest when the product you're duplicating is pre-engineered as an expendable pattern!
