Metalflaked cars Post EM please

    i need some metalflake ideas for my 56 pickup...any suggestions? im using a dark green primer.

    Pictures don't do that car justice. It's unbelievable in person.
     
  14. I used HOK Abalone flake on the roof over a white base. It shines all sorts of colours from gold/green through to aqua and even a dark blue. Might look alright against the green.

    Keep in mind that flake is almost impossible to photograph, so you'll have to use your imagination a little. :)

    In this pic it looks mainly blue.

    This one it's a bit more green.

    And in this one it's just about a perfect match for the body, a nice aqua blue/green.

    How about Flat green with silver flake.... then flames or scallops done in gloss of the same color green.

    Hey rockabillyjoe , thanks for your comment......... I been talking to deadend magazine about doing a photo shoot on my car, I'm really stoked about this so hopefully it will be coming out in one of there upcoming issues.
