A tear came to my eye seeing your buggy! THAT IS THE COOLEST THING EVER!!! I want one SOOOOOOO bad. Brings me back to the days of spa spa spa speed buggy cartoons! How do you deal with the ridges left behind from the candy? Do sand off the corners and spray clear over or just spay clear then sand?

  4. Bury them in clear and the sand very carefully

I tried to get the flake to show up but no luck. This is in our lunch room. Silver base, silver flake blue candy with the dark area being black base with white pearl and then blue candy.

When I was still painting full time, I had everything in my box custom painted. This was one of my socket boxes. Now that I do office work, it sits on my desk as a pencil holder.

I posted the tool box on another thread but it fits here too. We use this as our shared box. it is silver base with orange flake and orange candy. Not too fancy but we just could't leave it stock.

The red is on a project that I have been goofing around on in the evenings for the last couple of weeks. I will post pics when it is done.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. Donnie painted that one too. The goal was to make it look like Speedbuggy and Roth's Outlaw had a lovechild. I'm still building it. Lots more work to do. I hope to put alot of miles on it this coming spring summer.

  14. Eryk, your Buggy is AMAZING. THAT'S what a traditional Lowrider interior looked like when I was a kid (early 70's). The Circus like interior in today's Lows just don't do it for me. Sorry guys

This is a z50 I am building for the grand daughter. She picked the color (Passion Pink Candy) and I made up the silver base with coarse grained metal flakes.
