metal work done on my chopped delivery

    well i didnt think i would ever get to this point on the car with all the welding and grinding but its finaly ready for a coat of duraglass.... here are some pics. of the progress.....

    thanks guys its been a long process because of working on customer cars and workin my normal job... but seems as how i quit the normal job i got plenty of time to get it done now... hope to drive it to the drags! but i still gotta 4 link and bag it but thats the easy part... i asked the girl at the parts store for 3 gallon of duraglass and she laughed like i was joking...

    two reasons i decided to fix the car was #1 i have had it since i was 11 (now 28) and my dad bought it for me... it was once completely done with teal green two tone paint and grey pink and purple interior (it was the 90s cool thing to do then.) tubbed with centerline wheels all around... and #2 people told me it was trashed and let it go back to the insurance because it couldnt be fixed.... (showed them)

    Nice work! I was just wondering if per chance you kept a log or two from that weak-ass tree? It would be a nice touch to make a shift knob out of its wood, I dunno for good luck I guess. Assuming you ever park under a tree again, you could knock on wood!:p
