Looking to make some aluminum body panels for a new project. Can anyone recommend good reference materials for a beginner. Probably going to need to learn to use an English wheel, and other basic tools.

Check out U TUBE,....there are quite a few for starters. Also Baleigh (in your area) does seminars, which I believe are no cost? Stu

Not knowing what you know or not, what I would recommend is taking a class. That way you would have a little better idea what you are looking for. A place that you might start with is Dagger Tools, they have classes that are on-going and I think that Craig does a good job and isn't too far from you.

Check out classic-car dot TV. They have a lot of metal shaping videos. They are in german, but they explain themselves.
