Customs MERCURY 1949-1951- WHAT ARE THERE?

What are they, rubber bumpers?

 

I DO NOT THE LARGER PIC. BUT 3/4"X1/2" IS THE SMAALL RUMBER (THE PIC'S LEFT SIDE--------------1"X3/4" FORM RUBBER!!! RIGTH SIDE

 

Someone will know, we'll just keep bumping this along until we get an answer.

 

From here looks like rabbit poo

 

I'm thinking that they are bumpers but can't remember where they go.

 

Are the ones on the left are stops when you roll the windows down.

 

They sit inside (behind) the Windshield moldings. I don't know if they are to keep you from over tightening the screws of for anti rattle but that's where they go.
