    hi everyone,
    my ford pop(anglia) departed today,
this arrived a morris minor 1964
its had a new chassis, coil over suspension all round front based on minor uprights.
a 4 1/2" roof chop, with lowering car sits 11" lower.
still got original engine, trans and rear axle but scoots along only weighing 700kgs.
plans are to remove paint from rear and side windows, a quick paint job, maybe change wheels. then drive it.

That is one killer ride. Not to mention good gas mileage!? lol

Which comes in hand over there. I was in England for 2 months this summer and I will never complain about gas prices in the states again. I'll pay $2.80 a gallon over a pound per liter any day!

    Congratulations and have fun!

Thats looks awsome except for the painted windows. Id like to get an old early 60's mini cooper some day. Id put a turbo charged 4 banger in it.

DUDE! Your Morris Minor is really awesome!!!

Years ago a friend of mine had a Morris Minor Station Wagon. A little 2 door with wood trim on it. We had more fun with that car and girls thought it was "so cute" that we had to give them a ride! ;)

    Great memories!

Nice car, but do you have any idea what the PO was thinking when he painted the rear window? I can maybe see the back side windows, but the rear? Isn't that illegal? I'm not sure, but I think it would be over here.

    Sweet!

Like the others said....clean the winders, (adjust the hood gap) soup up the mill a bit with some shiny finned bits that really dont make it faster (but makes it look faster sitting there) and drive the livin piss outta it....

I'd give my left nut for that car (not like I'm usin it any way.....)

Nice, I'd like to see a dead on side shot of it to really look at the chop. There's been another thread on Morris' here, and some chops looked a bit wanky. I had one in high school. I had a '64 Dodge 426 Max Wedge street and strip car, mostly strip, and my Dad didn't like me driving it to school (Dad's are SO smart!) so I bought a Morris that had sat behind someone's house for years for $75.00. I rebuilt the motor, cleaned it up and drove it. Hated the oil pump location, and had continual problems with oil starving the front bearings.
Love your car! (A Mitsu EVO motor would ROCK!)

  28. That, my friend is something you can swap out without using a cherry picker!

I put a clutch in my Triumph Spitfire and it was easier to pull the motor. I lifted it out with a short chain and a 2 x 4. A little tough getting it over the wheel though:D

That Morris sits just right. Clean and tint the back windows and cruise...
    Awesome
