    I'm in a bind.
    I have a 1952 Dodge B-3-HHA 2 ton truck with a bad steering gear. GEMMER 4CC02
The worm and sector have been on back order for 2 months and I'm starting to believe I'll never get the parts. (They are rusted and pitted).

    My only alternatives are
    • to find the parts used, which I have had zero luck, or
    • Fabricate a more common medium duty manual box in place
I am not educated on how to do so. I have seen vehicles with custom made pitman arms and such.

Does anyone have some info/advice or maybe a link to a tech article?

    Thank you!
