McGURK TRI-DRIVE Information

I picked up this old McGURK waterpump for a Tri-Drive setup at the swap meet last weekend. I've searched for pictures & information but haven't found anything. I did find that the waterpump is for a STUDEBAKER.

Does anyone know what these were used for? My guess is MIDGET racing, but I'm not sure.

Anyone have pictures of complete TRI-DRIVE parts?

I used one on a sprint car in the early '70's. They were pretty popular then.
