Maybe slightly off topic sorta kinda

I had a friend offer to trade me a pin today that I think is '40s-'50s, all I know is it's a Chevy award piece. It says Chevrolet above two rubies, he says he had the local jeweler check it out and they're real rubies. Anyone know where I can find a value on this thing? I've searched and came up blank.

Let's see a picture. Once upon a time I was in a position to recieve "award pieces" from Chevrolet, not quite from the 40's though.

 

Each stone would signify a certain number of years. That was probably a ten or twenty year pin.
