I got some pics of my deceased uncle's car he bought here in South Texas when he got back from Korea. Its a fiberglass, one off that he got from someone in Brownsville. The previous owner's dad had it commissioned for him before he sold it to my uncle. Sitting with dirt up to its hubs in Houston as of now. I think it is built on a Chevy chassis. Some of you might find them interesting.

Would be a fun build but way more money to bring it back than I have disposable.

Quite a sweet project, if it's as symmetrical as it looks, it should be a nice restoration.

    What he said!

If it is truly a one-off, you'd never see another like it...and nobody else would've either. There's a lot to be said for that...unless the "one-off" is ugly. And that aint ugly.

Looks like it might not be that bad. Isn't that a production aftermarket body?

It's way too sharp to let it sit there and go to pieces, sure would be nice if you could save it , or put it out of it's suffering.

Looks a lot like a Victress S1, except for the early Vette-style headlights. Try sending the photos to Geoff Hacker at forgottenfiberglass.com - he might have more info.

--X2--don't plan on making it perfect, just functional.

Its my understanding, according to my aunt, that the car is actually a one-off and done in the Brownsville area. She has the title to it so I will ask to see it when I go up for a visit this summer and see what it was registered as.

  15. Not OT at all, look forward to seeing more pics

Here are the other three pics I have of this car. I have always liked it. It was sitting in my Grandparents yard as a kid for many years, then moved to Houston. My cousin always called it the cobra, but obviously it is not. Just has such a nice shape to it. Easy on the eyes, but never knew it as it was intended, just left to sit.

Looks a little like a Victress with a willys overland style hood and early corvette type headlights. I like it a lot. What are the plans for it?

    Hi Guys...

See photo attached/below. This is another car found in Texas several years ago. Like many cars built back then, if you built one...you built more (to recover costs and....honor for the designers work and inspiration.)

I'm traveling now but can help when I get home this weekend. Happy to help - e-mail me at [email protected]

    Neat find guys!
