HELP ME OUT !!!!!!!
Can someone mail me a pic of the Ford 1932 blueprint chassie drawing.
The old one that shows the location of all the holes on the frame-sides.
Used to have it hanging on the wall but it is lost.
Thinking of drilling the frame =)
Got those headlights back from the guy who bougth my old model A. Cadillac 37.
Might be on the 32.
Still needs to make some stands for them .
Got it yesterday.....
.....and glued in the center.
Primer on and some grinding before Casting tomorrow =)
you guys have some serious talent
Don´t know about that, maybe some serious luck........and sometimes
some serious fail´s too
Thanks anyway .
Todays work, the bump stops.
and on the frame........................OHHH NOOO, I welded them upside down !!!!!!
that hitch cover and cross member is awesome. if the stuff that wont be seen is that beautiful what will the rest look like keep it up.
I wait for som pictures of the results after Saturdays work on the wheeldiscs.
So many build threads on here have just left me in awe, and this one is no different. Amazing work.
Of course you didn't, but I do know someone who welded in some bearclaw door latches upside down and backwards. HAHAhahahaaaaa, I laugh because I love.
Finally back home from the Casting shop after spending something like 9 hours there.
3 of them turnd out good and the last looks a little less gordius.
Had some problems due to that I had some crap top coat paint on the frontside of the model and when we tooked the forms apart to get the model out a little bit of sand were stucked to the model, mostly were the text is.
Think some grinding and sandblasting will do the trick, in worst case we just cast a new one
I wanted Appel Wheels so Fredrik added some halfeaten ones in the melted alu, to get some final tutch he also throwd in 2 bananas.
This was fun ........and more hard work to get the disc out.
And it turned out like this Appel/Banana flavour
This is awesome. Thank you for sharing your talent and inspiration. Peter
Next thing will be to get them on some heattreatment to make the material stronger/better.
Then its time for boltpattern, centerhole and outer diameter and finally adding the wheel-rims.
We added some Grafite on the model to get a better sand release, it looks cool
This is Fredriks Casting place, Extremly Traditional. Down on the right is the owen.
That photo rules.
I've never wanted a set of wheels so bad in my life! They're incredible.
That must be some kind of a record, very very funny.
Did the holes on the frame yesterday, thanks Gurra for the drawing and thank you Håkan E. for the help.
Will be watching closely. Very hard to pass up the Milner Coupe!!
And some rivets too
those rivets came out goood, a bite to shine though B-)
Loooove those rims. Do they come in 19x4?
