Think it could be neat to have a removable Trailer Hitch on the car in case I want to bring the bike or my brothers '67 Aquacraft someday.
Started with some cutting, bending, welding and grinding to make this thing that is placed in the middle of the rear crossmember.

Next up was to draw a x-member that fits under the gas-tank.

Nice progress and looking like your doing a "quality" build as shown by the obvious skills and equipment you have. Keep the pictures coming on any further effort you put into this one.

The exhaust system consist of realy well made stainless casted mainifolds and mufflers from Speedway motors, the tubing is 2,5" stainless from my metalsupplier and flanges is made by myself. Still has the last tubing behind the rearend to do and some ours of tigwelding to .
The center cross tube gives a more even flow for the fumes and also make the hole system more stable when both sides are bolted together.

Am a little bit worried that those muffler dont restrict the sound enoth, I dont like cars that sounds more then what they can performe.
Anyone that have some experiance with those mufflers ???

Anyone that have used a electric in-tank fuelpump in a 32 tank ? Please let me know wich one to use and how to set things up. =)
I think there will be a carb on the car to start with but at the same time I would like to mount returnline to the tank and a electric pump with regulator so its already done for a later e.f.i.

    This is a outstanding build.
It is even more impressive when you factor in that you are in Sweden. Parts must cost considerably more and then add freight. :(

On the 32 Ford roadster that my friend and I are doing ...we used a GM pickup electric fuel pump. It is a in the tank type. It was for a mid 90's V6 and only put out 7 or 8 LBS of pressure. No Photos as off yet but I will get some and the NAPA part number for the pump. We got a regulator and a fuel pressure gauge for it also.

You can see the post on his 32 roadster build here

Sadly, progress has been slowed down recently.
Life, the HEAT and other factors have delayed the build.

Planning on getting back at it ... more seriously in a few weeks.

Thank you guys for all the positive feedback, makes it even more fun going to the shop. :)

Deuce Roadster- thanks for your input, my plan next after im done with the exhaust system is to make the brake/gas lines before I disamble the chassis for paint.

Did the last parts on the exhaust yesterday evening, now it is just a pair of hangers in the back and some welding to do.

I can mail you some dxf drawings on it if you like, bring them to your local water/laser cutter and you are on the way.
The H-beam part will fit your frame but the other things needs to be made to fit your rear x-member and the actual hitch that you buy. :)
