Moriarity still posts here although it is beyond me why he would like to hang out with this band of hoodlums. I am not missing his posts at all, he has some cool stuff, and has been showing it off lately.

yeah, I killed my fb account. nobody needs to know that much about me and I dont need to know all that about everybody else. the political crap is bad there, and I would like to say I'm sorry to everyone I unfriended based on politics.

I never joined because I don't care what people had for lunch or the political crap that is posted every single day....and I can't stand cute cat pictures. Besides,I'm a curmudgeon and the Hamb offers a social group for people like me. Everything that I find interesting can be found right here on the hamb. HRP
Yea you run the risk of finding yourself on a watch list on FB. There is a whole lot of politics that goes on there. Well that and who really needs to know about everyone else's sexuality. You're here and that's good enough for me.
Not to mention getting "in touch" with ex's you'd rather not. It's easier for them to "vent" when it's in front of a computer than face to face, just sayin'. It's one of the many reasons why I killed my account years ago.

Face bucket is for sheep. The Hamb is for men. Joking (kinda) don't want to offend anyone, but feel that we have a superior site here, for car guys n gals. I'd be upset more if Mark killed his Hamb account. That would be a tragedy.
I'm sure the HAMB will be fine as long as their is strict rules keeping RELIGION & POLITICS out. I know it is difficult for some on both accounts but it is vital.
Well praise god brother. Everyone knows that the only political views that have any importance are my own. The absolute best way in the word to start a drama storm is to talk one or the other; political or religious subject matter is just prime for an argument. yes one of the best ideas the boss ever had was to prohibit them both. the other really good idea was smileys so that everyone would know if one was being sarcastic or humorous.
funny how so many are no longer posting on HAMB because they are so busy posting on Facebook. Glad to learn of your decision Mark and hope to see more of you on here.
I have noticed Moriarity hanging out a bit more lately, some of the pages have had fiberglass and metal flake stuck to them. But geeez Gracie, where have YOU been?? Been a long time... Couldn't agree more. I had a fb account for about 3/4 months about 5 years ago. Deleted it and never suffered one bit by doing it. I frequent here, the Jockey Journal and one other hotrod board and thats it. I like to have substance if i'm going to be on the net, to LEARN, help or share projects. Looking forward to seeing more of ya on here Mark! Tony
