tingHey guys, got some questions regarding the mechanical advance assembly of an old Mallory YA 11A distributor for Model A/B Ford. My motor runs great to around 2,300rpm and then nose dives at that point. It's like it's hitting a rev limiter and won't rev past this point and breaks down. I have a spare model B distributor which works great in the same motor, I'm pretty sure the issue lays in the mechanical advance of the Mallory dizzy. This thing worked great for a few years after being completely reconditioned, now not so good. Does anyone have any information on how this thing works and how it can be adjusted? Chris
