Technical Mallory uni

lost the module last night and left me walking . Anyone know if a different brand will work ? Had problems with Mallory last 5 or so years . Thanks , Blue

 

Same product but different brand.... replace with an Accel module and save some money.

 

Got a part # , is it the point eliminator . Thanks

 

used to be you could buy a rebuilt stock Delco point distributor at any parts store...but they've gone away. So I'm no help. sorry.

Make sure the ground wire for the unilite is well connected to ground! that's a major cause of failure

 

I don't suppose a set of regular points would fit.

 

Here's what I used $47 vs $57.

 

My self over the years I have pick up several Mallory UNI with
Burnt module , replaced all with Old & New module,
Only lost 1 module last year when I was lazy to disconnect the battery before welding , 3 of my cars Have mallorys ,
One on my 39 Flat head ,
One on a mild blown engine with MSD box
The othee on my 1930 Hot / Race car with over 4 ft coil wire
With MSD box ,
Like Squirrel said make sure connections are good and wired correctly
