Technical Mallory Identification

This unilite says 3755101 - small block ford. Under the cap looks completely different then my other unilite. Anyone know what this is out of or what’s been done to it? Number on plate reads 25979c Thanks.

This one is missing the "breaker plate", etc.

Tell us more about your other unilite. What is it?

 

It has the same 3755101 number but has the advance springs on top like I’m used to seeing.

The older design( springs under is adjusted using keys to set the advance by changing the stop positions with the screws & stops , the newer one still uses keys but you set the stops tabs with the screw slots , there's another that only has one tab to bend & doesn't use keys ..

 

Are the advance springs the same in both of these ?

 

I believe they are .
