Unfortunately I'm not racing, but I will be there all weekend and camping in my Shasta at nearby Louise Lake Campground.
Went yesterday for the first time. Was only able to go for a few hours, but man oh man. This one is now a MUST every year for me, and I am hoping to camp out. One of our club brothers runs his '62 Galaxie 500 every year, more about fun and show and the experience for him than anything else. I could have stayed by the starting box until the end of the day. It was a last minute trip, and well worth the hour and a half out there. DO NOT miss this one next year, folks! To say the least, I have the itch...
I was there Friday and Saturday. I kept having flashback to Indy in '63. This has to be on your bucket list. If you don't have a bucket list, start one with this as number one!
My wife and I made the haul there. We're about a third of the way done with the haul back home. thanks for putting on a great event, MDA!
Wow, all that is old is new again - I spent my youth at that track, glad to see it is still going strong! Will have to plan on making it next year, I was 3 miles away from it last weekend and did not even know this was going on. Glad everyone had fun!
I went for my 1st time this year it was awesome. I posted about 390 pictures on the thread that is linked to my signature. Some are good and some suck but look and enjoy.
