I pulled the willys out of its winter slumber. It was snowed in and I couldn't get to it for the past 5 months. Now that it is in the shop, I'm wanting to finish up the body, so break time on the 32 and full steam ahead on the willys.

What can I say, I'm slowing down in my old age.

I am sure if you are building it, it will be cool.

I'm going around it and opening the rear wheel wells, cleaning up the metal work, and fitting the doors better. Almost there.

That's a good before and after. They are even parked in the same spot and the pic is from the same angle. Thanks.

A little more progress, no more hole in the hood, front clip is aligned and bolted down, and the fenders have been beat into submission.

I have been working on the car every weekend, it is all just clean up and tedious metal work. My goal is to make the body almost perfect in raw steel before applied for filler. I will post some pics, but in pictures it won't change much.

  21. How can you go wrong with a cool car and Sibley? I wish I could know and could do stuff like that! Again, rinse and repeat!

All of the major metal work is finally done! Now on to finishing up the chassis for paint.

You have done a fantastic job. I am looking forward to video of you driving it for the first time. Are there any Willys parts that you are looking for for it?
