keep in mind if you try and register it you'll need a CDL to drive it unless you can convince the dmv that its less than 24000#gvw
Here's a cool looking Mack Flatdeck. I recently heard of someone here in BC, that has a Mack Junior, sedan delivery!
Weight slip from a Cat registered scale (lots of them around NY anyhow) would do that. Cost me $9 to have a trailer weighed last month.
We should have had the truck finished by now but we kind of got sidetracked. We're working on it again now. We've got it all sandblasted and the chassis is painted. We're painting the Mack the same color as the race car. The cab's painted, I'm getting anxious to paint the rest and start putting this thing together. I'll post more pictures when I make some progress.
How is Mr. Best I was there shortly after he completed the restoration of the Yellow Mack Jr. 1935? if I recall. probably 10 or more years ago.
Well, none of us are getting any younger and it was 2 yrs. ago I was there, but always a blowout for his birthday which is coming up soon. I hope to find him in good health.
This thread is cool. I grew up in a trucking family and my dad has a thing for B model Macks also. I've had a 59 REO sitting in the yard for a couple of years. I've thought many times about mounting the cab on a 1 ton chassis and using it to pull my trailer.
