What are you guys paying for machine work on engine block? In Lincoln NE. Clean and magnaflux block, magnaflux turn and polish crank, R & R cam bearings freeze plugs, bore and hone cylinders, R & R pistons from rods. $525.00. Hows this compare? Bob

 

It does not compare. Real estate where I live is easily 625% of what it is where you live.

 

You are within 25bucks one way or the other.... so i'd say you're in the ballpark.

That's less than 1/2 price here in Washington. Get it done before he changes his prices.

I checked about 2 yrs ago for complete machine service on a 327 with new parts, my crank, less heads.. and a rotating assembly was $2500.
Checked 2 different reputable shops and they were neck and neck with prices.

That's a bit more than I pay here even with the exchange. But not much.
