    It's neat to look at something you had a part in years ago, no matter what it may be. Every time I go to New Haven I check out a seventh floor exterior catwalk I built in my cellar back before we got a proper shop...so much stuff we all do ends up in a dumpster after a while..

    Thanks for the interesting info about Macaulay Foundry's old patterns. I drove by the old foundry last Saturday on a visit to Berekley and was sad to see it had closed. I spent seven years there in the Engineering department ending in 1990 and do remember seeing an old Offy short block in storage at one time. Of course by that time those engines were out of production.
