yes I did use the search button before posting this. yes, called the Mac's help line ( sorry can't help with 3rd party websites ) yes even stopped by the Apple store ( do this, do that's - even wrote it down, won't work) I need help posting pictures from I-photo can someone please walk me thru it? Thank You
You're going to need to do one of two things- Drag a copy of the photo to your desktop. Then, go to "attach files" below the post window and hit "choose file" then select your desktop and then the photo. Your picture will have to be small enough for the HAMB to host it, usually 800x600. Easiest thing to do is to use a free picture hosting site, ie, flikr, photobucket, etc. Then you just upload your pictures to that site, and they give you a web url for each photo. Click on the little icon of the "mountains" in the tool bar above the post window and paste the url of the picture into it. With the new iPhoto, you can upload directly to flikr or facebook, then you'd just copy the url of the picture from that site and paste it as above.
Here is what I do: 1. Select photo from iPhoto 2. Select Export from the drop down box 3. Select medium size 4. Save to Website photos 5. When posting go Advance then select manage files which will take you to your today export photos and select the ones you want to upload into the HAMB. This works very easy. Lynn
The photobucket plugin for iPhoto is a breeze to use and makes getting them to photobucket a cake walk. http://photobucket.com/iphoto
